Small business support prize draw terms & conditions

  1. Promoter’s name and address

Xbridge Limited, trading as Simply Business, company number 03967717 with registered address at Xbridge Limited t/a Simply Business, 4th Floor, Hylo, 105 Bunhill Row, London, EC1Y 8LZ (“Simply Business”. “we”, “us”); 

  1. Application
    1. These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) apply to our Small Business Support prize draw], as advertised online on our website and social media pages (the “Prize Draw”). 
    2. By entering the Prize Draw, you (the “Participant”, “you” or “your”) confirm that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them, and that you meet the eligibility requirements at Clause 5. 
  2. Opening and Closing Dates

The Prize Draw will open on [14 January 2026] (the “Opening Date”) and will close on [22 February 2026] at 23:59:59 (GMT) (the “Closing Date”). Any entries received after 22 February 2026 will be rejected.

  1. Winners and the Prize
    1. There will be [1] winner of the Prize Draw (the “Winner”). 
    2. Subject to meeting the requirements of Clauses 5 and 6, the Winner will receive a small business support bundle consisting of £500 towards supporting their small business] (together, the “Prize”). The Prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable by you. We reserve the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value if the Prize is unavailable.
  2. Eligibility and conditions of entry
    1. You are eligible to enter the Prize Draw if, at the time of submitting an entry to the Prize Draw in accordance with this Clause 5 (the “Entry“), you meet the following requirements (which we may require you to evidence in order to verify your Entry):
      • a) you are aged 18 or over;
      • b) [you are a sole trader or the business owner of an actively trading company or partnership registered in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland)];
      • c) you currently hold a business bank account with a UK-registered bank; and 
      • d) you are not a Simply Business employee or an immediate family member of a Simply Business employee.
  1. The Prize Draw is free to enter. To enter the Prize Draw, you must complete and submit the Prize Draw entry form with all required details between the Opening Date and the Closing Date (inclusive). 
  2. You may only submit one Entry. 
  3. We reserve the right to exclude your Entry from the Prize Draw if:
    • a) it does not comply with these Terms and Conditions;
    • b) it is submitted after the Closing Date;
    • c) it is incomplete or illegible;
    • d) it is submitted in bulk or in conjunction with other entries or parties;
    • e) it is submitted on behalf of an organisation or another individual (including by an agent); 
    • f) it is the result automatic computer generation; or
    • g) your conduct is otherwise contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Draw.
  4. Winner announcement 
    1. The Winner will be selected at random using a computerised process from all valid entries submitted by the Closing Date.
    2. We will contact the Winner by email at the address provided in their Entry on or before 13 March 2026 to inform the Winner of their win, and to ask them to confirm their business bank account details for the purpose of receiving the Prize. If a Winner does not confirm their details for delivery by return email within one week of request, we may void their Entry and award the Prize to another Participant. 
    3. We will deliver the Prize within 30 days of the Winner confirming their delivery details in accordance with Clause 6.2.
    4. We are required by law to publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To meet our obligations, we shall send relevant details to individuals who request them by email at [email protected] or by letter at Marketing Team, Simply Business, 4th Floor, Hylo, 105 Bunhill Row, London, EC1Y 8LZ (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month of the Closing Date. If you do not want details of your Entry to be published or made available to others, please contact us as the email or postal address set out above. In all circumstances we may still provide details about any winning Entry to the Advertising Standards Authority directly on request.
  5. Intellectual property

You hold the rights of ownership in your Entry. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence your Entry and any accompanying materials for the purposes of making your Entry available on our website (www.simplybusiness.co.uk), in any other media and in connection with any publicity regarding the Prize Draw.

  1. Data privacy
    1. We (separately to any third party platforms or providers used for the purposes of the Prize Draw) will collect the content and information you submit when you participate in this Prize Draw in order to facilitate the Prize Draw and to manage your Entry and the delivery of any Prize. See also Clause 6 above with regard to the announcement of the Winner.
    2. If you opt in to receive marketing communications from us, we will also use your personal data for marketing purposes. Entrants may opt out of receiving additional marketing messages at any time. 
    3. We shall process any personal data in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy (as available at www.simplybusiness.co.uk/privacy-policy/).
  2. General
    1. Any decision made by us regarding the Prize Draw will be final and binding.
    2. We accept no responsibility or liability for any:
      • a) failure of a third party (including, without limitation, a provider of the Prize and any financial providers used by us in fulfilment of the Prize) to fulfil its contractual obligations;
      • b) guidance or advice given, or any act or inaction, by a provider of the Prize; 
      • c) Entry not seen or taken into account by us for technical reasons (including any Entry which is lost, damaged or delayed as a result of a network, computer hardware or software failure or internet issue), noting that we will not accept proof of submission of your Entry as proof of receipt; or
      • d) communications from us which are not seen or delivered as a result of a network, computer hardware or software failure, as a result of an invalid e-mail or other address provided to us, or any ‘spam’ or ‘junk mail’ filter settings (or equivalent) on your email or social media account. 
  1. Simply Business, our agents and payment providers will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to you for any loss, damage, personal injury or death resulting from this Prize Draw or your acceptance of a Prize unless it is caused by the relevant party’s negligence or fraud.
  2. The Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media sites or third party providers used by us. By entering the Prize Draw, you release these parties from any and all legal liability in connection with the Prize Draw. These Parties shall be deemed third party beneficiaries of this clause and shall have the right to enforce it against you.
  3. We reserve the right to cancel or suspend the Prize Draw and/or modify the Terms and Conditions at any time.
  4. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any disputes arising under them or in connection to the Prize Draw shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
