Be valued, supported, and challenged.
To create something better.
That ‘something’ could be better insurance options for the self-employed, a better working life for our people, and even a better future for our society and environment.
Everything we do comes down to these five values – learning, empowerment, authenticity, pioneering, and simplicity.
These will mean something unique to every person at Simply Business, but if you’re thinking about working here, give them some thought. They’re at the heart of our story.Check our jobs board
Now you know our values, you need to hear the story. Play the video (it’s really short) for a sense of where we’re coming from.
What does insurance mean to you? For too many, it’s meant dissatisfied customers and bored employees. We’re creating something better.
Working at Simply Business means embracing the same relationship with each other as we have with our customers: one of trust, responsiveness, and accessibility.
It’s not just about winning awards here, although we’re really proud of things like our Sunday Times Best Company to Work For hat-trick (2015, 2016, and Best Leader). We’re all about learning, trying new things, and improving, so we don’t stand still for long. We’re Agile, in every sense.
To sum it up, we challenge the stereotype. Some companies provide insurance, we set small businesses up with great protection. Some companies operate on a rigid 9-5, we’re more flexible. Some managers tell, we support - and challenge.
There’s all the serious (but important) stuff we call ‘core’. On top of that, you can pick and choose from the more exciting perks – whether it’s a full gym membership, private health cover, help with childcare, or a National Trust pass.
Some of these will kick in once you’re permanent, but here’s an idea:

But there’s so much more to Simply Business than insurance and memberships. We also run cycle to work, childcare voucher, and season ticket loan schemes, and we have a handy online form to put in any training or conference requests.
Best of all, though, are the groups, clubs, and adventures that come with the Simply Business territory. Forget a simple Give As You Earn scheme (although we’ve got that too) - we trek the Sahara for charity, throw epic summer parties, and meet up for book groups, public speaking coaching, yoga, cheeky manicures, beer brewing, and lots, lots more.
