To create the report, we spoke to 1,013 of our small business customers in May 2022.

Jonathan Portes is Professor of Economics and Public Policy at King’s College London.
Previously he was Director of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR), the UK's longest established independent economic research institute, and prior to that Chief Economist at the Cabinet Office.
His current research concentrates on the economic implications of Brexit; and immigration.
