Aro is an underwriting agency, established in 2011. They’re experienced in both the UK and the European markets and focus on specific, specialist insurance for smaller enterprises and landlords.

Aro was created by a group of experienced insurance professionals. Their underwriters are focused on making insurance more straightforward, so we’re delighted to have them on our panel for residential landlord insurance.

Aro landlord insurance

  • £5 million of liability cover – with Aro, landlord liability insurance protects you for up to £5 million, and includes cover to re-house your tenants in alternative accommodation.
  • Cover single or multiple properties – Aro landlord insurance is available whether you have a single property or a whole portfolio. If you’re insuring multiple properties, with Aro and Simply Business you’ll need to take out one policy per property.
  • Protect your income – with Aro, you can add tenant default insurance, which can cover up to six months of unpaid rent if your tenant defaults.
  • Keep tenants happy – and your wallet safe with temporary accommodation cover, should your tenants need to leave your property for an extended period of time – such as in the event of a disaster, like a fire or flood.

Claims with Aro

If you buy an Aro policy through Simply Business, your claims will be handled by our own, award-winning team. Should you need to make a claim, get in contact with our claims team to kickstart the process.

We’ll then work with Aro to make sure you get the best possible experience at what can be a stressful time. If your claim is successful, we’ll be in touch to ask for your bank details. We’ll then request payment within 24 hours, and usually it will come through by BACS. In some cases Aro may handle the claim personally, but don’t worry, we’ll let you know if that’s the case.
