Simply Business SB PoP Badge competition terms and conditions

1. The promoter for the purposes of this competition is Simply Business, Company registration number 03967717, whose registered offices is at 99 Gresham Street, London, EC2V 7NG ("we", "us" or "our"). By entering into this competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
2. The prize draw may only be entered by entrants who display (and continue to display) a proof of policy badge, matching the design of the image showed in the header of these terms and conditions (“PoP Badge”) on the main page of their business website. Subject to this requirement and those described in clause 3 below, the prize draw is free to enter.
3. The following conditions must be met prior to entry in the prize draw and for the duration of your policy of insurance with us (“Entrant Requirements”); a) Entrants must have an active policy of insurance with us and that policy must remain active 21 days after the policy start date with the initial instalment or full policy premium successfully paid; b) The PoP Badge must be prominently displayed on the entrant’s business website; c) The PoP Badge must remain in place on the entrant’s business website for the duration of an entrant’s policy of insurance, and the entrant acknowledges that we shall be entitled to a return by the entrant of any prize or benefit conferred by these terms and conditions should it be found by us that any Entrant Requirements or any other part of these terms and conditions have not been complied with.
4. We may cancel or amend any competition details, competition information, or these terms and conditions without prior notice.
5. All entries must be made via Twitter or by email, using the relevant entry form provided by us.
6. Only one entry per person and per business, all entrants must be 18+, entry is only open to UK residents.
7. People who work for us, or are related to a person who works for us, may not enter the prize draw.
8. The opening date for entries is 18th August 2019. The closing date of the competition is the 30th December 2019. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
9. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not completed or received for any reason.
10. Five winners will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process OR supervised by an independent person.
11. The random draw shall take place on 6th January 2020.
12. The five winners shall each receive a 2019 32GB Wifi + Cellular Apple iPad.
13. If, for any reason, the stated prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
14. No cash alternative to prizes is available. The prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable.
15. If you win, we will notify you within 30 days of the draw date by your method of entry (Twitter or email), and you must provide a postal address to claim your prize. If you do not respond to us within 7 days of receipt of our notification we will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
16. The prize will be sent to the winner(s) by post within 30 days of providing their postal address following the notification that they have won.
17. Our decision regarding any aspect of the competition will be final and binding.
18. Incorrectly completed entries or entries that do not comply with the Entrant Requirements or any other part of these terms and conditions shall be disqualified.
19. Your details will be collected via encrypted data solely for the purposes of this prize draw and deleted once the prizes have been sent to the winners.
20. We will not pass on your details to a third party without your prior consent.
21. You are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry, and the terms of our privacy policy. We reserve the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prizes to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
22. We reserve the right to hold, void, cancel, suspend or amend this promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
23. Insofar as is permitted by law, we, our agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prizes, except where it is caused by the our negligence, or that of our agents or distributors or their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
24. The competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the competition submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
25. The winner will be contacted by email and will need to prove that they are a business owner, by confirming the business registration number or a tax reference number.
