Hangout at our bus, attend one of our workshops or point your finger at our #PutSimply panel…
This year’s Elite Business Event takes place at London’s Truman Brewery over the 18-19th March, bringing businesses together for two days of entrepreneurial activity. Offering a range of excellent speakers, seminars and workshops we’re proud to put our name on the bill, so much so that we’ve decided to sign up as one of 2015’s headline sponsors. Here’s what we’ve got planned…
A bus full of insurance acumen (and free coffee)
If you think you’ll be attending then keep an eye out for the Simply Business bus. Sat near the main entrance we’ll be offering insurance advice and canvassing your opinions (more on this in a minute…) as well as dishing out totally free coffee – because a caffeine boost is always good.
A chance to put your questions to politicians
On 09.15am on day two of the event (19th March) we’ll be hosting #PutSimply, a 45-minute Question Time style debate that’ll allow you to grill business leaders and politicians. Facing your questions will be…
Damian Collins MP The Prime Minister’s Small Business Ambassador for the South East and Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Foreign Secretary
Rekha Mehr Director, MassChallenge and former Entrepreneur-in-Residence at BIS
Lord Tim Clement-Jones Former chairman of the Liberal party & current Lib Dem spokesperson in the House of Lords
Sarah Wood Cofounder & COO of video ad tech company Unruly
Hosted by freelance journalist Declan Curry - a veteran of the tricky question - #PutSimply is sure to pull no punches, so come along if you want something answered.
If you are unable to attend the event and would like to get involved, tweet using the hashtag #PutSimply. The best questions will be asked on the day with the responses posted on Twitter.
Let the panel know of your burning business gripes and get involved!
Or, to get your question in on the day pick up a question slip from us (you’ll find these at our bus or on Stand no.8).
And a couple of handy workshops
Also at Stand Number 8 we’ll be running a couple of quick advice sessions.
These will take place at:
18th March (10.15am - 11am)
19th March (2.15pm - 3.00pm)
Run by our insurance experts they’re designed to explain the insurance essentials, so come along if you want to spruce up your knowledge or put some questions to our team.
Sign up for the workshops here, but numbers are limited so do it quickly. Bear in mind you’ll need tickets to whole event though, so make sure you grab them too.
We hope to see you there!
