Here’s what you’ll be doing:

If you thrive in a highly responsible role where you heavily influence our commercial pricing, while holding a high standard of customer ethics - you’ll be falling over yourself to apply for this role. We’ve spent a lot of time and effort making our pricing and analytics function best in class, and you can be part of this.

Your manager, Ruth (Director of Commercial), is empowering and trusting.  You’ll bring the pricing expertise and be supported by her strong commerciality to make good decisions.

This is a fixed term contract until January 2025. While there is not the intention to make this role permanent, it’s a great opportunity to bolster your CV, and build your professional profile with some great strategic wins.

As one of our Head of Pricing, you’ll:

  • lead, nurture, and develop a well established and hardworking team 
  • build upon and extend the existing infrastructure so that cutting edge pricing and analytics practices are implemented throughout our commercial business
  • look after commission pricing. You’ll interface with insurance product, partnerships, new tactics, and pretty much every strategic part of the business
  • work closely with a cross-section of the business in assessing and implementing changes 
  • communicate results, create and galvanise the vision for the team and broader business
  • actively contribute to company social, environmental and DEI goals

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • an expert in price optimisation, analytics, regression analysis, and machine learning. You understand how these techniques can be applied to the economics of an online business
  • comfortable dealing with complex data and ambiguity. You can identify what is important, what could be wrong, and get solutions in place quickly
  • decisive and drives commercial value, rather than just technical development
  • a great people manager with demonstrated success in team building, mentoring, coaching, and performance management
