We took to the streets of Great Britain to ask real tradespeople for their views on what’s fast becoming an epidemic. Watch the video for the lowdown on a low act.

Our questions included:

  • How should tool thieves be punished?
  • What’s the best way to protect your tools?
  • What are your thoughts on tools insurance?

Do you agree with the tradespeople interviewed in the video? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

This video just goes to show the importance of protecting your tools – whether that’s keeping a watchful eye on them when you’re on site or locking them out of reach of thieving hands once you’ve clocked off.

Tools insurance can protect you from potentially livelihood wrecking events like the ones mentioned in the video above.

If the worst happens and you need to claim, there are things you can do to help move things along – plus, more importantly, things you can do to help prevent a theft from happening in the first place.
