Supporting small businesses this Christmas

After a difficult 2020 – and with strict restrictions still in place across much of the UK – it's never been more important to support small and local businesses.

That's why we're encouraging as many people as possible to shop local this Christmas. What's more, share your support for small business on social media, and you could win a £100 Not On The High Street gift card.

There are three gift cards up for grabs, and we'll be selecting one winner each from Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Just follow the steps below, and enter before 14 December to be in with a chance.

Here's how to be in with a chance of winning:

A challenging month ahead?

Small businesses and the self-employed are the backbone of Britain – vital to both our economy and local communities.

But this Christmas will prove to be their toughest in memory. Few have been hit harder by the impact of Covid-19, and our recent survey revealed just how challenging this festive period could be without the right support.

With those surveyed telling us that Christmas accounts for 28 per cent of their annual earnings on average, it’s worrying that local shops and businesses expect, on average, to take £2,164 less than usual this Christmas.
