The role

The Facilities Team are responsible for maintaining the workplace to meet the needs of our diverse workforce. Looking after our people and premises is central to our day to day activities. Our brand new reception space will provide our customers, guests and visitors with their very first experience of our people, our culture and our great office space.

This role is designed to offer an enthusiastic and energetic person the opportunity to join Simply Business and be our cultural ambassador and first point of contact for all our customers, guests and visitors.

As a receptionist you will:

Represent our exciting business and its fantastic culture whilst becoming a vital member of the London office, with responsibility for a number of key activities that positively impact our people and our visitors.

Responsibilities include:

  • delivering first class customer service by taking a flexible ‘can do’ approach in meeting and greeting our customers, guests and visitors
  • hosting, managing and maintaining the reception suite, interview rooms, customer experience labs, social enterprise hub, gaming facilities, and kitchen and breakout areas
  • ensuring the reception suite runs efficiently by carrying out daily housekeeping checks
  • ensuring office equipment is in good working order
  • ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to
  • providing lunch and refreshments for our guests and visitors as required
  • supporting the Executive PA’s and the Facilities Team with general administration
  • booking travel, accommodation and arranging other office related requirements
