We are looking for a Digital Product Portfolio Lead to join our Product team in Boston, MA.

Here' what you'll be doing:
This role is ultimately about making sure we invest in the most promising and profitable products by understanding the content of those products, and envisioning how they fit together.

You’ll take the practices to the next level. You’ll use lean portfolio management practices to coordinate our portfolio of digital product activity and running our  portfolio roadmap.

The role includes supporting financial and impact reporting of our portfolio across all our markets (currently US and UK).You will collaborate closely with the Head of Delivery to ensure that product initiatives are knitted into the wider programme deliverables effectively. 

A few more details about the role:

  • Continuous Roadmap Planning & Management
  • Scenario Planning: Translate longer term strategic imperatives in our two markets (US & UK) into a mix of product opportunities that could be pursued by the teams.  
  • Coordination & Steering: Work closely with the CPO, Product leaders. 
  • Facilitate Decision Den: our fortnightly priorities session, including setting up the agenda and  distributing support materials
  • Own the decision making prioritization process: Seek to optimize internal processes and drive Alignment 
  • Be a great leader: Manage the portfolio view of all our key activities, working directly with our management teams across the US, UK and in our central Shared Services group.
  • Focus on outcomes: Collaborate with the finance and delivery teams regularly on the health of the portfolio overall and trends seen over time between what was pitched and what was delivered and the impact it made.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Natural born organizer, collaborator - enjoys orchestrating solutions
  • Demonstrate brilliant business judgment based on skills, intuition and experience
  • Proven track record managing C-suite stakeholders. A true coach - you inspire others to go beyond what they thought possible
  • Agile practitioner Excellent at prioritizing and coordinating whilst having the ability to work to multiple deadlines under pressure
  • Someone who is logical and methodical, pay attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively deliver through others and strong influencing skills.

What's going on with work from home and return to the office?

More and more, people are talking about going back to the workplace and the new normal. At Simply Business, we’re thinking of it as a Better Normal. That means offering our SBers more choice and greater flexibility to work in a way that’s best for their particular job, their teams, and their lives.

We’re shifting to a hybrid working model, so we’ll have employees working virtually and in the office at any given time.

We’re also aware there are times when working together in person is the best way to get things done. We expect our SBers to connect in their hubs (that’s what we call our offices) most likely once every few weeks. That said, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution, so we expect all SBers and their teams will find the operating rhythm that works best for them.
