We are looking for a Senior Insurance Product Manager - Core Propositions to join our Team in London!!!

Here's what you will be doing:

  • reporting into our Head of Insurance Product, you’ll be responsible for product and customer analysis leading to continuous improvement of our commercial product portfolio
  • leading what we sell: you’ll be proactively engaging with stakeholders to set the direction of your area of responsibility
  • helping to define the Insurance Product strategy and roadmap, and aligning it to strategic priorities across the business
  • exploring customer problems and appraising opportunities (with stakeholders before committing to them) to drive great customer experiences and growth
  • using customer and data insight from the market, our sales funnel, competitors, and claims to inform priorities

A few more details about the role:

  • the Insurance Product team is focused on connecting the dots between the insurance needs of SMEs and landlords, and products from insurers in the market, including our propositions for add-ons and payment options
  • the team owns what we sell and is responsible for selecting, designing, developing, implementing and managing the range of insurance products we offer  the team works with people across the business and key partnerships include Claims, Customer Insight, Insurer Relations, Marketing and Acquisition, Operations, Underwriting, Partnerships and Distribution, and Digital Product
  • success is achieved by monitoring and measuring the KPIs of your insurance product, and leading decisions on future iterations
  • you’ll be responsible for making sure the insurance product proposition for your area is valuable for our customers, and sustainable for our panel of insurers

We are looking for someone who is:

  • a leader who can influence direction, decisions, and execution across the wider business
  • responsive and demonstrates ownership, a bios to action, and commitment
  • experienced in commercial insurance, or in a complex insurance domain, and cares about customers
  • collaborative and compromises in the right way able to lead varied groups to swift decisions
  • experienced delivering insurance or financial services product with hands-on decision-making in building/running products sold digitally
  • comfortable using data to inform decisions that drive product improvements
  • experienced in making trade-off calls to prioritise, from ideation to live, with key measures of success an excellent negotiator with excellent persuasive and analytical skills, including financial modelling, forecasting, and using analytics platforms
  • a problem solver who’s motivated to take on challenges with minimal direction
