Simply Business seeks an entrepreneurial, strategic, highly-organized, and collaborative sales professional to support our work by establishing, cultivating, and stewarding relationships across a variety of small/micro business channels that can benefit from Simply Business’ insurance products and technology.

As a Partnership Development Manager, you will:

  • Develop and execute on a client-centric, full-cycle sales strategy of Simply Business's products and services to bring a diverse group of partners into the Simply Business ecosystem and deliver impactful, mutually beneficial outcomes for Simply Business and our partners 
  • Identify and optimize new, innovative pipelines and partnerships, including utilizing and enhancing a master prospect list
  • Conduct sales meeting with potential Simply Business partners
  • Cultivate leads to ensure conversion in alignment with goals
  • Work with Head of Partnerships and partner/marketing teams to develop messaging that clearly and concisely explains Simply Business to external audiences in a manner that resonates and drives brand loyalty
  • Support a culture of productivity and accountability through the creation and tracking of sales and retention milestones
  • Analyze data to drive daily partnership development activities
  • Serve as a thought partner regarding Simply Business's distribution strategy
  • Represent Simply Business externally, including at conferences, recruiting events, networking opportunities, etc. to generate excitement among prospective partners
  • Work effectively with cross-functional and multi-level internal stakeholders to inform partnerships outreach roadmap

What we are looking for:

  • Sales, partnership development, marketing, or related experience
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • A high level of professionalism, customer service orientation, attention to detail, and ethical standards
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 

  • Additional Qualifications:
  • The ability to manage a diverse workload, competing priorities, and deadline sensitive projects
  • A commitment to setting and meeting long-term & short-term goals
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, organizing, and prioritizing using measurable outcomes
  • Ability to adapt, think critically, and work in a constantly-evolving environment
  • Passion for, and experience with selling into SaaS platforms and technology businesses
  • Hard-working, enthusiastic team player with a “can-do” attitude who likes to develop creative solutions to complex challenges
  • Independent, organized self-starter
  • Authentic passion for helping partners solve challenging problems
