The BizOps team at Simply Business manages and maintains an international multi-site IT infrastructure, which is predominantly based around PasS and SaaS technologies.

As a Service Desk Lead you will:

  • manage a team of service desk engineers, split across two sites
  • approach pain points with an analytical mindset
  • have meticulous attention-to-detail and care about an exceptional user experience
  • report on trends and root causes
  • report on ticket volumes and backlog
  • communicate the team’s successes to the wider business

Responsibilities include:

  •  team management including 121s, absence management, etc
  • ticket management and escalation
  • managing, creating and reporting against SLAs and KPIs
  • reporting on team and agent performance
  • team mentoring and training
  • overall responsibility for the delivery of first-line support to the business
  • quality reviews of tickets to ensure an exceptional user experience

What we are looking for:

  • experience establishing and developing key performance indicators
  • line management experience
  • experience working with data and analytics
  • experience working on an IT Service Desk at various levels
  • ITIL V4 knowledge desirable, but not essential
