We are currently looking for a Learning and Development Advisor to join us in the Northampton team:

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • developing and delivery of Product knowledge, predominantly to Inbound & Outbound Consultants (both face to face and virtual) 
  • providing advice and guidance to managers and employees about a range of L&D interventions to support delivery of departmental goals and personal objectives
  • contributing to and leading on L&D projects and initiatives, ensuring that implementation is achieved on time and in budget
  • evaluating learning interventions to measure business impact and quality of training
  • gathering data and responding to evaluation outcomes in an agile fashion to improve our offering
  • using data analytics tools to evaluate adoption of L&D strategy and recommend department specific approaches
  • following appropriate L&D processes and ways of working to ensure we meet legal requirements, business need, and best practices
  • using available technology (LMS, onboarding tools) to develop and deliver people-centric, business-oriented and outcomes-focused learning and performance solutions

More about the role:

  • be part of a global L&D team working on L&D projects and initiatives across the business
  • providing L&D expertise to the rest of the People team and our people managers
  • design and facilitate in-house product and business skills training solutions to support the delivery of business objectives
  • create digital learning solutions to support business needs
  • understand and be aware of Onboarding of all our new hires to Simply Business in an inspiring and energetic way,
  • utilise LMS to support learning initiatives and SB learning experience
  • provide data and insights on L&D initiatives and deliver on L&D strategy

We're looking for some one is

  • CIPD qualified or has equivalent experience in L&D
  • experienced in designing, delivering and evaluating training 
  • great at presenting to and facilitating groups, and delivering messages confidently 
  • confident at building relationships and collaborating with a range of stakeholders
  • up-to-date with a broad specialist knowledge of L&D trends and good practice
  • experienced in using Learning Management Systems (Docebo or similar)
  • experienced in working with data and using the insights to shape L&D strategy and support departmental learning objectives
  • ideally from an insurance/financial/regulated industry background
