People Operations Manager to join us.

As a team we are responsible for:

Supporting our UK-based people. We’re the first point of contact for People queries, and aim to provide a high-quality, first-time resolution to any issue. We offer employee relations advice and guidance. We create People policies, and we make sure we’re managing People risk across the business by facilitating and overseeing control measures. We’re the engine of the People Team, getting things done with our can-do attitude and working as one team.

As a People Operation Manager you'll:

  • Lead on day-to-day People Operations activities, managing a team of four and reporting to the Head of People Operations and Reward
  • Work in partnership with colleagues within the People Team, both in the UK and the US
  • Be known as a subject matter expert in your field
  • Coach the team on case management and be an escalation point for complex employee relations issues

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading on continuous process improvement, optimising our system capabilities by working within a team across the UK and the US
  • Coaching the People Operations team to help them reach their career ambitions and leading by example with a high standard of delivery
  • Supporting our managers with people management responsibilities, assessing opportunities for upskilling and training on day-to-day management, and working with others in the People team to define and design solutions
  • Managing multiple stakeholders and colleagues across the business to drive service excellence and promote the value-add of the team
  • Leading a risk, control and governance culture across the People team, defining our control measure, regularly updating on legislative changes and reviewing our People policies to ensure they’re always fit for purpose
  • Driving an insights-based culture within the team, working in partnership with our Data and Analytics team to ensure we’re providing insightful management information from the team’s activities to aid People decisions across the business

What we're looking for:

  • A background in employee relations, people operations and/or HR advice, with up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation
  • Someone who’ll constructively challenging how we do things, and who can demonstrate a strong desire for continuous improvement
  • An analytical and logical mindset with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders
