We need a TechOps Account Manager to join us in London.

As a team we’re responsible for:
Supporting Tech to deliver the Business and Tech Strategies, primarily making sure they have the correct capacity and capability balanced with impactful communication.

With a Project or Account Management background, you’ll have strong organisation, data analysis and planning skills, along with an outcomes-focused and proactive approach. You’ll be comfortable working collaboratively and creatively within a dedicated team, which supports operational, administrative and strategic activities for a variety of teams across SB Tech.

As a TechOps Account Manager you’ll:

  • play a critical role in the evolving Tech Operations team
  • define and realise the exciting talent growth strategy for SB Tech, reporting to the Head of Tech Operations 
  • lead projects and be accountable for their ongoing activities and objectives
  • use best practice and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products, services, and processes for SB Tech

Responsibilities include:

  • supporting the Head of Tech Operations
  • sourcing and managing our Tech nearshore and offshore partnerships across Europe and Asia
  • delivering and mobilising innovative new initiatives, ways of working and operational improvement projects across our UK, US, nearshore and offshore teams within time and budget constraints
  • negotiating and maintaining third-party contracts and budgets
  • collaborating with Tech and non-Tech stakeholders to create, develop and deliver Operational MI, reporting and insights for IT Management and non-tech stakeholders
  • planning and coordinating tech recruitment, onboarding, induction and development activities, working with Tech, People, Learning & Development and Legal teams, and external parties
  • providing guidance and work direction to other team members
  • supporting ad-hoc operational admin, finance, and team-specific requests

What we’re looking for:

  • experience of working within account management, recruitment, contractor or project environments
  • solid commercial awareness and understanding of legal contracts and negotiations
  • strong analytical, budgeting, reporting and planning skills, comfortable with producing data analysis, MI & dashboards for senior management review, and creating high-level plans
  • excellent IT skills with experience of Excel/Google Sheets and G-Suite applications
  • excellent organisation, communication and facilitation skills
  • a positive and proactive contributor with a ‘can do’ approach and strong work ethic
  • a ‘completer-finisher’ with excellent attention to detail
  • a flexible team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and in a friendly, collaborative team
  • the ability to deliver new initiatives, prioritise tasks/activities and meet tight deadlines consistently
  • experience or understanding of agile methodologies and approaches
  • the ability to build relationships across Simply Business and work collaboratively with a variety of individuals
