We are looking for a Senior eCRM Executive to join the Digital Marketing Team in London.

As a team we’re responsible for the acquisition of new customers, specifically via the email channel, and work across the entire lifecycle of the customer. 

The eCRM team is part of the wider marketing team whose mission is to make Simply Business the first choice for SMEs and landlords. 
The focus is on using best in class communication strategies to engage, convert and retain audiences by leveraging our extensive data, personalisation and automation capabilities. 

Using a highly sophisticated customer data platform and email service provider, you’ll be responsible for implementing new email communications, with a view to driving increased customer engagement, value and incremental revenues, as well as an improved customer experience.

Here's what you'll be doing:

  • identifying new opportunities to drive value for the business
  • occasionally working directly with our partners
  • proposing new campaign ideas and solutions
  • campaign planning and execution
  • owning reporting and revealing insights on campaigns, creating a feedback loop with stakeholders to inform decisions 
  • contact centre campaign liaison
  • testing, proofing and peer reviewing

A few more details about the role:

  • you’ll own and deliver CRM programmes to acquire and retain customers at all stages of the customer lifecycle using Blueconic and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget)
  • lead, implement and improve lifecycle marketing campaigns, driving engagement, additional quotes and improved conversion
  • work with the Content team to create engaging emails that target high open and click rates
  • be responsible for creating visually appealing mobile responsive emails with the Design team 
  • query the data to generate insight and highlight opportunities
  • you’ll have a keen interest in data as you’ll segment the data and inspect selected audiences 
  • deliver one-time send, news-focused emails within a short timeframe
  • contribute to a ‘test and learn’ approach to maximise results 
  • support with training, development and upskilling the team

We're looking for someone who is:

  • experienced in email marketing and customer lifecycle management
  • experienced with segmentation, programmatic content, and automated branching campaigns
  • experienced with multi-variant testing automated multi-channel campaigns
  • experienced in independently managing big strategic projects from start to finish
  • a highly organised individual with good written communication skills
  • knowledgeable of HTML and SQL, plus analytical skills
  • a natural problem solver, demonstrating innovation and a proactive, can-do attitude
  • curious to learn a deep understanding of our internal applications and third-party technology providers
  • able to multitask and work in an agile environment
  • understanding of online and digital tech – and has a passion for digital marketing
