As a team we are responsible for PPC & Display play a pivotal role within Simply Business, generating valuable leads and bringing in customers and revenue to the business.  As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will help deliver targets across our PPC & Display channels to contribute to meeting Simply Business’ financial goals by learning to deliver cutting edge digital campaigns.

As a Digital Marketing Executive you will:

  • Support the team with the creation, optimisation and reporting for PPC & display campaigns as directed by the Head of PPC & Programmatic; together you will be responsible for delivering customer-focused, profitable multi-category campaigns to agreed targets
  • Support the Head of PPC & Programmatic on devising and implementing campaign strategy and be responsible for daily and monthly expenditure being in line with budget targets
  • Learn how to use data and bid management effectively to optimise and maximise performance
  • Work with our cutting edge Data team to learn how to segment and analyse data on the most granular levels as well as  perform all types of tests

Responsibilities include:

  • Create and test both text and display ads working with both the Editorial, Design and Compliance teams
  • Create, edit and test landing pages, liaising with the relevant teams such as Editorial, Design & UX
  • Work with the Product team to fully understand the products, identify new opportunities and improvements, and implement changes accordingly
  • Be responsible for daily, weekly, monthly or ad hoc PPC & Display reporting to evaluate channel performance to feed into overall marketing strategy
  • Use a variety of proprietorial and third party tools to compile and draw insight from both company-specific, sector-specific and generic industry data, in order to better understand user trends and behaviour and add context to the performance of the account

What we are looking for

  • Digital Marketing experience (ideally)
  • Advanced excel knowledge
  • Analytical -You like analysing data to drive performance improvements and be confident manipulating complex spreadsheets
  • Flexible and tenacious with a focus on accuracy and delivery
  • An upbeat personality with the ability to drive yourself, showing initiative and a drive to challenge the status quo
