The Senior PMO Lead role is an essential part of the evolving Tech Operations team. Reporting into the Head of Operations, you’ll be contributing to realising the exciting strategy for SB Tech.
With a Projects or PMO background, you’ll have strong organisation, data analysis and planning skills, along with an outcomes-focused and proactive approach. You’ll be comfortable working collaboratively and creatively within a dedicated team, which supports operational, administrative and strategic activities for a variety of teams across SB Tech. 

Your role will involve:

  • supporting the Head of Tech Operations
  • assisting in delivering and mobilising initiatives, ways of working and operational improvement projects
  • collaborating with Tech teams to create, develop and deliver Operational MI, reporting and insights for IT Management and non-tech colleagues
  • planning and coordinating tech onboarding and induction activities, working with the tech teams, the people team and the learning & development team
  • coordinating with tech teams on best practice and development activities
  • creating operational guidance, communications and point-of-reference documentation to support all tech teams
  • coordinating a range of department events and meetups
  • supporting ad-hoc operational admin and team-specific requests

What we’re looking for:

  • experience working within project, PMO or change environments
  • experience or understanding of agile methodologies and approaches
  • strong analytical, numerical, reporting and planning skills, comfortable with producing data analysis, MI & dashboards for senior management review, and creating high-level plans
  • excellent IT skills with experience of Excel/Google Sheets and G-Suite applications
  • excellent organisation, communication and facilitation skills
  • a positive and proactive contributor with a ‘can do’ approach and strong work ethic 
  • a ‘completer-finisher’ with excellent attention to detail
  • a flexible team player who thrives in a dynamic environment and in a friendly, collaborative team
  • the ability to work on initiative, prioritising tasks/activities and meeting deadlines consistently
  • the ability to build relationships across Simply Business and work collaboratively with a variety of individuals
