Expert claims location, not price, is main London rental concern
The location of rental properties - rather than the price - is the main concern for potential tenants in the London market, an industry expert has claimed.
Convenience to local amenities and public transport is high on the agenda of many looking to rent their home in and around the London area, Propertyfinder.com stated.
Nicholas Leeming, director of the property portal, said that prices were going up across the city so many potential tenants were prepared to pay above national average prices, but it all depends on where the actual property is.
He added: "My point would revolve around whether it is convenient for transportation links because the more convenient it is the more opportunities there are and the more rent you pay of course."
According to a recent survey by PrimeLocation, the average London rental price increased by 3.3 per cent in March.
