Direct Line is less competitive for motor insurance
In news which may be of interest to users of van insurance, Direct Line is a more expensive motor insurance provider for most customers, it has been claimed.
According to website Confused.com, the results of the recently published Deloitte Quarterly Motor Insurance Market Report demonstrate that over 90 per cent of clients will obtain insurance at a lower cost elsewhere.
"Our advice to consumers remains, always shop around based on your individual circumstances," said Debra Williams, managing director of Confused.com.
"In publicising this report, Direct Line are highlighting the fact that over 90 per cent of customers, and perhaps more, will find cheaper … insurance with other providers," she added.
The report found that out of a total of 1,000 customers, Direct Line was a lower-cost insurance provider on 78 occasions.
