Defaqto provides new insurance tool
Independent financial research group Defaqto has created a new guide to help people choose their insurance.
Dubbed Defaqto Compare, the portal allows people to best utilise price comparison sites to find the cheapest and most relevant company insurance policies, Easier reports.
Car, home buildings and home contents insurance policies are covered by the new tool, which is available free on find.co.uk.
Brian Brown, head of insight at Defaqto, remarked: "It is vital that before buying any insurance policy customers check to make sure it gives the cover they need, rather than just buying it because they are told it is the cheapest policy in the market."
Kate Marsden, group marketing director, added that the new system will empower consumers "to ensure that they get the cover levels they need".
Defaqto states that its products are used by a number of leading financial institutions including major UK banks, building societies, insurance companies and investment houses.
