A company in Sweden has launched a new craftsmen's kilt.
Created by the firm Blaklader, the new garment is made from fluorescent materials and is available to buy worldwide, reports the Edinburgh Evening News.
The new product is also available in black and there are a number of features, including a back pocket, a hammer loop and even a knife-holder.
High-visibility products such as this kilt may be popular with tradesmen such as builders and electricians.
"Everyone is taking the mickey, but if they were all wearing it I would too. I've got my own kilt at home, so why not?," said Kris Mills, the driver of a forklift truck in Scotland.
George Murrin, a site supervisor, added: "The problem would be if you were wearing a kilt and needed to use a harness to work at height."
However, the garment has been awarded the title of product of the year by the Swedish Textile & Clothing Industries Association.
