Workers should leave technology at home while on holiday
Workers should leave technology such as laptops and blackberries at home while on holiday, one consumer financial services provider has claimed.
According to MORE TH>N, people in Briton love work and they work more than any other nation in the whole of Europe.
Carmel McCarthy, PR manager for the firm, said workers should try and leave the technology at home or if it has to be used to keep this to a minimum to avoid bringing too much disruption to the family.
"The other thing is to write really good handover notes to your colleagues, let them know that if it's a matter of urgency that they can contact you, but if it can wait until you get back off holiday to leave it until then," she stated.
MORE TH>N concluded it is important for people to get these two or three week breaks in if possible.
Research for 3 UK revealed four million people would be willing to break off a date to fix a work-related problem.
