Winners of Queen's Awards named

The winners of the Queen's Awards for Enterprise have been named.
Recognising outstanding achievement among businesses in the UK, the awards are presented by the Queen on the advice of the prime minister.
Companies ranging from multinational organisations to start-ups are eligible for prizes in international trade, innovation and sustainable development.
Among this year's winners were the University of Glasgow Business School's MSc management unit, Eurobuns Ltd and BT Group.
The benefits of the awards do not solely relate to their prestige - some businesses have reported increases in turnover of up to 30 per cent after being named as a winner, the awards' website claims.
Commenting on the awards, prime minister Gordon Brown was quoted by Businesszone.co.uk as saying: "Whether large or small, every one of this year's winning organisations has achieved outstanding success in its field. I congratulate them all on their diverse and remarkable achievements."
