Save money with VoIP telephone
Small-to-medium business enterprises should find Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) software is cheaper than having a fixed phone line in place, one technology expert has claimed.
According to Technology Means Business (TMB), VoIP is cheaper technology compared with some of the larger fixed-line providers.
If a business has a physical office, home-based workers or is a virtual organisation, everything can be linked to a "relatively cheap" VoIP system, advised the company.
Dr Adam Le Gresley, head of operations at TMB, said: "Everything else is dealt with centrally by your VoIP provider service. One of the benefits of this is that online you can pretty easily reorganise exactly how it works."
He added that you can recognise how it works "in two seconds" and it does not cost anything unlike the conventional market.
Last month Bandwidth.com, a business communications provider, launched its new Phonebooth product, an Internet Protocol Private Branch Exchange.
