London is 'the best place to do business'
An expert has asserted the supremacy of London as a place in which to engage in business.
Marc Hardwick, the research manager of Think London, an agency specialising in foreign direct investment, believes that the economic progress of the UK's capital is expected to outstrip development in locations such as Paris and New York.
Moreover, by 2020, Mr Hardwick believes that London will possess the world's largest city economy.
"London has a history of being the best place to do business," said Mr Hardwick.
"Looking forward, business prospects are good and seem to support decisions of companies to relocate to London," he added.
Mr Hardwick's data was sourced from this year's European Cities Monitor, a report published by Cushman & Wakefield, a real estate firm operating in a number of different locations, including Canada, the US and the Middle East.
The monitor also identified Britain's capital as the best European city for business, ahead of Paris.
