Diversity of business is 'enriching' the UK
The diverse nature of business in the UK is helping to make the nation "richer", one financial education expert has claimed.
According to the Cass Business School and the Natwest Bank, who undertook research on what it means to be 'enriched', the UK is becoming richer through the variety seen in the business sector.
Professor Scott Moeller from Cass Business School said that many of the people making the rich list are there not just because of financial status but due to their passion for business.
In many cases those making an effort to try different work "had a social benefit through the greater economy and also had the potential to be something that could be quite important in the future", he stated.
The Professor added that the researchers were impressed by the "dynamism" seen in the under-35s.
At the top of new Enriched List of 15 is Mark Herbert, the Sheffield-based film producer behind the This Is England.
