CRM can help a business win more customers
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) can help a firm win more customers, one business expert has claimed.
According to Microsoft Dynamics CRM, the high level of 'customermisation' and the ease of installation can help a business to source new opportunities and leads.
The firm also said the service can help it grow its customer base and create additional revenue streams.
Jason Nash, product marketing manager for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, said: "Moreover, having a knowledge of ‘customer’ history and preferences helps to improve customer service, encouraging loyalty and repeat custom."
The implementation of the product is "no small undertaking" as anyone who has put in a CRM system which spans marketing, sales and a website will know, he stated.
However, Mr Nash concluded that the benefits are substantial and a firm should not be afraid of the challenge of undertaking the venture.
Research from the European Financial Management & Marketing Association showed banks recognise the strategic importance of CRM and most banks have moved towards a customer-centric approach, but they are halfway there.
