Britons get extra work to boost Christmas budget
A recent survey by Opinion Research has suggested that Britons intend to spend an average of £376 this Christmas - down on £393 last year. However we need to get extra work to find the cash, according to Peopleperhour.com.
The jobsite has seen a large influx of people looking for work they can do in their spare time - freelancing to boost their income and save for the Christmas shop.
“People seem determined not to cut-back their spending this Christmas – despite all the financial pressures associated with the credit crunch,” says PeoplePerHour.com founder and CEO Xenios Thrasyvoulou. “Our site is enabling thousands of people to earn some extra cash so they can indulge as much as ever this Christmas.”
