92% of employers wouldn't re-employ staff
92% of employers would change at least one member of staff if they had the chance according to a survey by Skillzbase.com.
In the survey of over 870 UK bosses, 92% of employers would change at least one member of staff if there weren’t any legal consequences and 17% of these would happily change their entire team.
Sam Fianu, co-Founder at Skillzbase.com said: “As someone who has always been passionate about my work and careful when recruiting members of staff, I find it worrying that so many people are clearly unhappy with their job and so many employers are unsatisfied with members of staff."
The survey also revealed that 86% of employers felt at least one member of staff acted completely differently to how they acted during the interview. 62% of these felt employees had exaggerated and/or lied on their C.V. about their knowledge and experience.
Skillzbase.com found that 76% of employers claimed that little contact with applicants before offering them a position was to blame for their lack of judgement, but time constraints made it difficult to deal with applications internally without outsourcing to recruitment agencies.
