London commercial property market at 7-year high
Tenant demand for commercial property space remains very strong in London, although in other parts of the UK it has begun to fall.
A 2nd quarter survey by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors showed that industrial properties, such as warehouses and distribution depots, were most in demand.
Central London also saw the first increase in demand for retail space in 7 years, but again outside of the Capital demand is being hit by the interest rate hikes.
