Spiralling agency fees, internship crackdowns, and wavering EU credit ratings - here's your need-to-know business news roundup.

Tenants are paying as much as £2,000 in agency fees up front to move home.

This is according to a new report from the Resolution Foundation. Their research found that fees are highest in London. [Guardian]

The government has begun a crackdown on unpaid internships, beginning with the fashion industry.

HMRC has sent letters to more than 100 fashion businesses warning them over the use of unpaid interns. [Telegraph]

The European Union could lose its AAA credit rating after it was placed on negative watch by a major ratings agency.
