We are always on the lookout for talented students or graduates to take part in paid internships across the company. We offer a variety of roles each summer, and can place you in the most suitable team for your skills. Tech Internships
As a Tech Intern, you will be part of an entrepreneurial tech team whose goal it is to accelerate the growth of the company. Our view and culture is web, not insurance, and as an intern you will acquire a mix of transferable skills that will help you in your future job search.
We use a mix of different technologies including Ruby, Rails, Java, Tomcat, Nginx, Apache, Passenger, Oracle, MongoDB, Cucumber, Selenium, JS, CSS.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for people with an analytical mind and a creative approach to problem solving. Enthusiasm about tackling technical challenges, and an eagerness to apply current skills as well as acquire new ones.

Marketing & Insurance Internships
An internship within our marketing or insurance team will give you valuable work experience and the opportunity to really make your mark. We do not look for interns to make tea and organise paperclips, you will be given the chance to really get involved in projects. Schuyler interned with us in 2011 and wrote this fab article on online marketing on a shoestring.
You could be writing copy for our website, helping to manage social media campaigns, analysing data or meeting our insurers. Whatever you choose to be involved with, your contribution will be valued.

Our very first intern, Harvard student Schuyler Milender, spent the summer of 2011 with the marketing team. The experience was so positive that Schuyler spread the word about Simply Business when she returned to Harvard, and Simply Business began to recruit more interns! Internships in the Northampton office
This year we've taken on two students as interns in our Northampton office. Brother and sister Toby and Charlotte Fordyce were mentored by Simply Business for the Rise To Challenge. We were so impressed with their drive and business-sense that we offered Toby an internship in the operations team, and Charlotte an HR internship.
